Markinter manufactures Aluminum,
Bismuth, Cobalt, Copper, Iron,
Magnesium, Manganese, Nickel, and Zinc compounds for electronic,
catalyst and pharmaceutical applications.
Other important products
include Ni metal powder for base metal capacitor
electrodes, as well as Barium boro-silicate glass for dental
applications.
In addition, Markinter manufactures multi-oxide powders for batteries,
capacitors,
ferrites, fuel cells, recording media, resistors, thermistors, varis tors
and other
advanced electronic and ceramic applications using proprietary solution
processes (as opposed to solid state mixing).
Working with ONE
powder made of N
oxides simplifies (divides by N)
many tasks such as ordering ,
scheduling, storing, weighting, mixing,
as
well as performing the many tests often required when using different
oxides
from various sources. Wet chemical processing leads to a high degree of
chemical homogeneity and a better control of bulk or tap density,
particle
microstructure, size, size distribution and morphology, which result in
improved repeatability from batch to batch of the end product
Most of these powders are cooperatively developped and processed under
non-disclosure agreements. Such agreements have been executed with
several of the top electronic companies and Fortune 500's.
